Dresden for explorers: an unforgettable incentive experience for Swedish guests
- MICE news
For a Scandinavian client from Sweden / Stockholm - a software development company - we, agentur.respect GmbH - Dresden, set ourselves the task of designing a varied and sustainable experience incentive in Germany. For one week, 60 employees were to combine both professional continuity and unique team experiences. The client's requirements were clear: sustainable arrival and departure exclusively by boat, ferry and train, exciting and sporting activities, pure nature, impressive art and cultural experiences and the promotion of communication and team spirit.
Dresden and its diverse surroundings proved to be the ideal location for this employee incentive! The guests stayed in the elegant “Townhouse Dresden a Vagabond Club” right next to the famous Frauenkirche. After a typical Saxon culinary reception in the traditional Sophienkeller, the employees were divided into two groups. One group devoted itself to professional tasks, used the specially equipped co-working space and explored the city and its cultural treasures with our experienced guides. The other group embarked on a three-day cycling and hiking tour to Saxon Switzerland, where they experienced the Schmilka organic and national park retreat in all its facets - from stylish overnight stays to regional cuisine, hiking and mountaineering in Saxon Switzerland.
A joint highlight for both teams was a visit to the Zimmerling winery in Pillnitz, where art and wine merge in a unique way. The return trip to Dresden took place down the Elbe on rubber dinghies and a classic paddle steamer - another highlight! The day ended with an after-work party on the roof terrace of the “Lebendiges Haus Felix” with a breathtaking view of the Dresden Zwinger and the city.
Another culinary highlight was the gala dinner at Bülow Palais - “Carousell Nouvelle”, which delighted the Swedes with its outstanding cuisine and excellent service. The crowning finale of the week was the conference at Proschwitz Castle under the motto “arbeta och trivas” (work and enjoy). The feedback from the participants? “It was the best trip yet!” Dresden proved to be the perfect destination for this unique incentive.
