The MCE Central & Eastern Europe industry meeting, MCE Forum for short, takes place annually at different locations in Europe, most recently in Budapest in February 2022 and now in Dresden from 29 to 31 January 2023. The important industry meeting is organised by "Europe Congress", an event agency of the MICE industry based in Prague. Half of the 125 participants from a total of 17 countries are planning professional events - from congresses to conferences to staff events - and the other half, including hotels, technical service providers or congress destinations, are offering their respective services.
MCE highlights
The focus was, of course, on exchange and networking. On two days, the programme included the business meetings, which were very successful.
In the course of three Dresden tours before and after the two trade days, the participants got to know the different facets of the congress city. The programme included visits to classic Dresden sights, cultural offerings such as museums and culinary highlights as well as visits to various event venues and hotels. Two evening events gave the Löwensaal and the Ostra Studios the opportunity to present themselves particularly comprehensively.
