Promotion: Businesses help businesses

Companies help companies

In the wake of the Corona pandemic, many industries were hit by severe setbacks: Turnover losses, orders remained in the pipeline, innovation projects had to wait, employees were put on short-time work or even laid off. This affects the cultural and creative industries (CCIs) as well as companies in other sectors. And the Corona pandemic will continue to be a major challenge for many sectors of the economy in the future. This is where the support programme "Businesses Help Businesses" comes in, which was developed on the initiative of Alliance 90/The Greens in cooperation with the Dresden City Council, the Office for Economic Development and We Shape Dresden. On 10 June 2021, the programme was adopted by city council resolution as a support fund for coping with the effects of the Corona pandemic.

Information

In productive cooperation, the crisis and its consequences can thus be used for further entrepreneurial development, in particular to be able to react to the changed economic cycle, sales market and working conditions caused by the Corona pandemic.
Dresden companies will be linked with each other as "matching partners" in order to:

  • - jointly design new products and services,

  • - expand their own service portfolio,

  • - try out modern distribution channels and working models,

  • - increase their own visibility,

  • - train executives

  • - or strengthen teamwork in the company with innovative methods.
