Information on accommodation tax
From 1 July 2023, the City of Dresden has extended the accommodation tax to overnight stays for business purposes. In principle, all persons who spend the night in Dresden in hotels, inns or guesthouses, holiday accommodation or similar accommodation facilities as well as on campsites for a fee are liable to pay accommodation tax, unless a tax exemption applies in exceptional cases.
